Idle Cultivation Guides & Walkthroughs
From Body Awakening to your first clean offline session in the Open Test.
This hub is the map for every Idle Cultivation how-to on the wiki. The Roblox Open Test is a 2D idle xianxia incremental: you sit, qi rises, realms break, and the same character keeps refining dao while you are logged off. The title art already names the three jobs you will rotate for the entire test: Cultivate, Combat, and Contribute.
Start with Getting Started if you just spawned. Use How to Get Spins as soon as the Manual exists. Use How to Play when the menus make sense but the loop does not. Use Controls if Premium or panels are missing. Use realms when you want the Body Awakening map without a fake ladder. Use breakthroughs when qi stalls. Use offline progress before you close Roblox. Use the sect guide when Chop Wood and other contribution boards appear on the right. Use the review if you are still deciding whether this Open Test is your mountain.
What these guides assume
- You are on Roblox, in the Salt Mountain experience, not the Steam game of the same name.
- The build is Open Test / Update 1.8. Systems can shift after a shutdown. Progress should not wipe.
- Codes are claimed. If they are not, leave this hub, open the codes list, and come back with spins in the bank.
- Graphics are at level 3 or higher so Cultivate VFX, Premium, and contribution boards actually draw.
The game is still in heavy development. These pages teach the loop Salt Mountain has already shipped, not a fantasy endgame ladder of named realms we have not seen published. Body Awakening is the confirmed starting realm. Everything above it is a breakthrough you will feel in the Cultivate panel, not a spoiler list invented for SEO.
First-hour path
- Spawn, sit, and learn the Cultivate pulse. Qi is the main skill. Everything else multiplies it.
- Unlock the Cultivation Manual. Redeem codes. Park spins until you read the talent and bloodline notes.
- Take one combat pass so you understand that idle does not mean zero fighting. Explore drops treasures and loot that Cultivate alone will not print.
- Touch one Contribute task such as Chop Wood. Sect contribution is a third resource lane, not optional flavour.
- Log out on a clean Cultivate session so offline dao ticks while you sleep.
If that list already feels obvious, skip to builds and the spin planner. The wiki is built so each guide stays on one job. You should not need a 4,000-word mega-page that repeats the same Open Test disclaimer five times.
How the three jobs interact
Cultivate is the idle core. You sit in the ink-wash scene, qi gathers, realms try to break. This is where offline progress lives.
Combat is the active spike. Enemy portraits on the title art are not decoration. Explore and fights feed loot into the same character that is meditating.
Contribute is the sect lane. Wooden boards like Chop Wood pay sect contribution. That currency exists so the sect tab is not a dead menu. Details sit on the sect guide.
A healthy session rotates all three instead of AFK-sitting for an hour, then wondering why treasures and contribution never move. The explore and loot page covers what you should pick up while rotating.
When a guide is wrong
Open Test means a Tuesday patch can rename a button. If Premium moves, if Chop Wood becomes a different chore, or if a new realm name is printed in-game, the Updates Hub is the changelog and these guides get rewritten from the live client, not from another wiki. File the official Roblox description as the tie-breaker: no data resets, xianxia inspirations (Overmortal, Er Gen, Regressor’s Tale of Cultivation), and the eight codes listed there.
Read one guide, do the thing, then jump to a sibling page. That is the whole design.
